Change of Authorised Representative for participation in the Election

TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL

Dear Sir,

Change of Authorised Representative for participation in the Election.
Last date- 8^th August,  2008.

At the next Annual General Meeting of the Council which is due to be held on 26^th September, 2008, election to fill the vacant seats in the Committee of Administration of the Council will be held.  As you are aware, only the authorised representatives of the Ordinary Members whose names have been registered in the Council are eligible to vote and stand for election. 

In case if you wish to change the authorised representative for the purpose of election, kindly intimate the name of your new representative along with his signature in the specimen signature card (available on request from the Council) latest by 8^th August, 2008; as otherwise your existing representative will be recognised and accepted for the purpose of election.  Please note that no change in the name of the authorised representative for the purpose of participation in the above stated election would be made after 8^th August, 2008. 

You may also kindly note that as per the Articles of Association of the Council, the rules regarding the representative are as follows: 

Ø      A  proprietary firm shall be represented by its proprietor.

Ø      A partnership firm shall be represented by any one of the partners authorised by the firm.

Ø      A company or Co-operative Society shall be represented by any one of the Directors or any person in the position of Directors authorised by a resolution of Directors.
