Sub : Revised Drawback Rates for Manmade Fibre Textiles for 2007-08

The Government has announced revised Duty Drawback rates for Manmade Fibre Textiles, which are higher by 2 to 3% as compared to the earlier rates. Please find herewith Notification No.68/2007-Customs (N.T.) dated 16/7/2007 issued by the Department of Revenue in this regard containing the Schedule for Drawback rates (from Chapter 54 to 63) giving the relevant details.

We would request you to kindly examine the descriptions of the products as well as the drawback caps and other relevant provisions and let us have your views and suggestions, if any in the matter.
