Suggestions for Pre-Budget Memorandum, 2016-17

Sub : Suggestions for Pre-Budget Memorandum, 2016-17

Dear Sir,

As you are aware, every year the Council submits Pre-Budget Memorandum / Pre-Budget Proposals to the Government. In this regard, the Ministry of Finance has sought Pre-Budget Proposals for the year 2016-2017 from the Council.

We would, therefore, request you to send us your proposals/suggestions for the next Union Budget 2016-17. Your proposal/s may be in respect of the following : -

1. Budget proposals should be complete in all respects, properly categorized and for item-wise suggestion the HS Codes for each  commodity must be mentioned;
2. Each of your proposals may be accompanied by a brief justification so that the issues can be taken up appropriately.
3. Proposals which are most crucial to the Sector may be sent.
4. Suggestions on Income Tax, Service Tax, Customs Duty, Central Excise Duty, Inverted Duty Structure, Central Sales Tax, Cess and Levies may also be sent.

We look forward to receive your proposals by E-mail/Fax latest by 10^th September, 2015 so that the same can be incorporated in our Budget Proposals to be sent to the Government.
