Sub: Postponement of Maharashtra MSME Defense Expo to February 24 – 26, 2024
Dear Member,
The Maharashtra Government and Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is organizing MSME Defense Expo from February 24 to 26, 2024 at Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sector No. 5 and Sector No. 8, Moshi, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra. The date of the event has been postponed from February 17 – 19, 2024 to February 24 – 26, 2024. The event is supported by Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).
About the Event
The event is supposed to be one of the largest defence expo in India. Over 1,200 companies from the MSME sector will be exhibiting their products in the Defense Expo. The event will serve as a vibrant hub where the Maharashtra MSME ecosystem converges with Defense sector buyers to foster invaluable interactions and explore mutually beneficial opportunities.
Indian Defense forces along with the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) are set to participate at Maharashtra MSME Defense Expo in Pune. It will also see participation from approximately 10,000 students from various universities and engineering colleges in Maharashtra. This will present an unparalleled opportunity for students to interact with the leading companies and industry professionals deeply engaged in the defense sector.

The event shall be attended by Shri Eknath Shinde, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Ajit Pawar, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defense Staff of the Indian Armed Forces and other officials from the Indian Armed Forces.
