Sub: Open House Meetings every Wednesday in the Office of Addl. DGFT, Mumbai
Dear Member,
Kindly refer to our earlier Circular No.ES/11/2016-17 dated 13.04.2016 wherein the Council had intimated about the Open House Meeting being organised in the Office of Addl.DGFT, Mumbai every Wednesday from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm, in the Conference Hall, ‘D’ Wing, 2nd Floor, Nishta Bhavan.
In this connection, we would like to inform you that, in the last Grievance Meeting held in the Office of Addl. DGFT on 2nd March, 2017, which was attended by a Representative of the Council, the Additional DGFT, Dr. Sonia Sethi (IAS) once again reminded the Members present at the Meeting to inform its member-exporters regarding the Open House Meetings held in their Office every Wednesday. She has further informed that during this Meeting the concerns/pending issues of applicants raised by them are addressed by the officers concerned, who make themselves accessible in the Conference Room of the Office of Additional DGFT, Mumbai.
The objective of the Meeting is to provide an opportunity to the Exporters to bring to the notice of the Addl. DGFT and her Officials the problems faced by you in the day-to-day interaction with the Office of the Zonal Addl. DGFT, Mumbai. Besides, specific cases such as difficulty in availing the benefits of the various Schemes can also be discussed in the Meeting. Please note that many of the operational problems and difficulties faced by the exporters gets resolved in such Open House meetings.
The Council hereby requests ALL its Members to make use of this platform and attend the Open House Meetings so that your problems can be resolved at the earliest.
