Sub: Amendment in Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20.
Dear Member,
We would like to inform you that the O/o DGFT has issued Notification No.13/2015-20 dated June 20, 2018 by making amendments in in Paragraph 4.29 (vi) and (vii) relating to Validity &Transferability of DFIA under Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20.
(vi) Separate DFIA shall be issued for each SION and each port.
Revised Paragraph 4.29 (vi) of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20
“(vi) Separate DFIA shall be issued for each SION."
(vii) Exports under DFIA shall be made from a single port as mentioned in paragraph 4.37 of Handbook of Procedures.
Revised Paragraph 4.29(vii) of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20
"Export under DFIA shall be made from any port listed in Para 4.37 of Handbook of Procedures. However, separate application shall be made for EDI and non-EDI ports. In case export is made from a non-EDI port, separate application shall be made for each non-EDI port."
