Since information is the lifeblood of the Business, it has been the Council's continuous endeavor to provide updated trade information to its members. As part of providing the latest trade intelligence to the exporting community, the Council compiles comprehensive statistical data from various sources viz. shipping bills, customs daily list, quarterly returns, publications of DGCI&S (FTSI (PCPC) & MSFTI), reports of Indian missions abroad, International textile periodicals, Statistical Handbooks of various trade associations. The data thus sourced mainly related to export, import and production of man-made fibre textiles such as synthetic fibre, yarn, fabrics and made-up items.

Periodic export reviews, market studies, market access problems, NTBs, analysis on Trade agreement etc. are prepared and are made available for the information of member-exporters. Monthly Statistical data and Analysis relating to export of synthetic and rayon textiles are regularly featured in this section.

Keeping in view of the requirement of the members, information on product and markets of MMF textiles is also available. We carry out periodical study on the International trade trends of synthetic and rayon textiles and make available to our members. This section also carries the list of HS codes with descriptions of those products falling under the purview of the council and various research reports prepared by the Research Department.
